My Favorite Jewelry Finds

Hello!
No matter where I am my senses are always on high alert for jewelry and other types on nick knacks. Recently I have found some amazing pieces and I wanted to share them with you today. These range from more higher end pieces to charity shop pieces. Enjoy!

1. This is a piece that I picked up very recently at a local charity shop. What I loved about it is that it had a charm that was a turtle! It has 5 small diamonds and one large green diamond as it's shell. It is very simple and delicate and I had been looking for a necklace like this for a long time and without looking for it I randomly bumped into it. It has a medium size chain. When wearing the necklace the charm hits about 15cm below the collar bone. Charity Shop $1.99

2. I found this piece the same time I found the turtle necklace. It is a gold flower with a small silver diamond at it's centre. It is very delicate and charming and is a tad bit longer then the turtle necklace. I also found this in a charity shop. Charity Shop $2.99

3. Eiffel tower. When I saw this I got very excited because of my European background I like to have pieces hat remind me of my past. This was a perfect piece because it represents just that. It is a small Eiffel tower dangling from a bellybutton length chain and has a whole bunch of other charms on there from a brown flower to a cream rose. I really like this piece and it represent me very well. Jewelry shop in L.A. $3.50

4. I talked about this ring in my past blog posts and I love it to bits and is probably my most worn ring. Ardenes $7.50

5. This is a necklace that I received from my grandmother for my 10th birthday and it is a protective eye to protect from dark spirits. It is very beautiful and is made from gold.  $?
6. A beautiful ring I received from my mom. Love it a lot and matches everything which makes it very versatile. mom $5-10

7. AHH I love this ring so much, it looks quite expensive but got it for a complete bargain for $3 from Ardenes. Love the nature look to this ring and that is what attracted me to buy it.

8. Pink. Pink. Pink. The only reason I bought them. Ardenes (Came in a pack of three) $12.50

9. From my mom I love to wear these because the give off a vintage feel and they are very cute. $5-10
10. Got these from my friend from secret Santa and love them a lot and they are very comfortable. I am usually not a big fan of dangle earrings but I really like these. $7.50

11. This was another charity shop find and these are very sweet because I have nothing like them and I loved how they were still in the packaging. Very nice and I love these to bits. $1.99

Small Bath and Body Works Haul

Hello!
So recently I stepped in my car and ventured out to a huge shopping centre that I hadn't been too in about six months. I bought some clothing. ( which I will show in my next haul) but I was most excited to visit the Bath and Body Works since I handy been there in a while. As soon as I stepped in I was overwhelmed by the bottles , scents and millions of candles and started to remember why I didn't go there too often. I browsed along the sections till I made a stop at the huge 75% off bin where I spent the majority of my time. In the end I only picked up three amazing goodies but I thought it was worth sharing with you! Hope you enjoy and please leave a comment if you have an idea for a future blog post!

1. I got the Paris Amour anti-bacterial deep cleansing hand soap which I was very much in need of. It is a lovely fresh scent and leaves your hands feeling really soft and clean.

2. The second item I purchased was something that I was hoping to find in my shopping adventure. It was a body butter. I had hoped they had just a coconut scent but sadly the only had one that was mixed with lime or one with vanilla. I just wanted a pure coconut butter. As I continued rummaging through the sale bucket I cam across this body butter which is called dark kiss and smells absolutely amazing and the consistency is fabulous. I fell in love with it right away and held onto it tight. When I apply it to my skin in leaves it very smooth and hydrates my skin very well  so I am very happy that this product is beneficial to me.

3. The last item I got was one of their perfumes which I had never tried before. This one is called Black Amethyst and smells heavenly. It has a sweet but also strong scent and it's very comforting but can be overpowering if you apply to much. I love the cute design which was another reason why I had to pick it up :)

Products from left to right: Dark kiss body butter $3.80, Paris Amour Anti-Bacterial hand soap $5.50, and the Black Amethyst $7.50.

I hope you enjoyed this blog post and if you did please follow, comment, rate, share,or whatever you do these days to show that you enjoyed this. Hope you have a wonderful day!

A New Year A New Start

A new year does not only mean a change in a date but for most people it means a long term or temporary change in their life style. A lot of people make resolutions or plans to make the new year a very sucessful one. Some people decide to loose weight, look at a more positive outlook on life or try to spend more time with family. So as most people do I have put together my three top resolutions for 2013 that I am going to stick to.

1. Eat Healthy
This one has been one of my resolutions since I can remember. Every year I tell myself I am going to reach for the apple instead of the chocolate bar or go for a healthier option when choosing a food to eat. But what I have done to try and make it a little easier is to try to eath healthy most of the time and once in a while have a small treat. This way I can enjoy eating healthy but also once in a while eat some delicious sweets.

2. Save Money
I constantly find myself spending all my money in my wallet escpecially during the holiday season, birthdays and summer vacation. I'm allways thinking that, oh the extra handcream won't matter or sure I'll go out for coffee or dinner. I am going to make three seperate jars and label them. One says savings, another spending and the last one will be emergency money which I can use if I am really in neeed of money.

3. My last resolution is to try and travel somewhere this year. It's been about a year since I have been on a plane and I am eager to step foot on another continent. My hopes are of going somewhere in Asia or maybe to the United Kingdom. Hopefully with my new saving money plan I will be able to go fairly soon.

Those are my three new years resolutions :). If you enjoyed this please follow my blog and let me down in the comments below what your resolutions are for 2013. Also, please leave a link of your blog so that I can follow it!

Wish you all the best in the New Year 2013!
